Why you should totally go spring skiing in the Alps

Warm sunny days, empty slopes and great quality of snow - is this even real? If you miss the winter ski season in the Northern Hemisphere, don’t worry because spring skiing is definitely something to experience once in your life.

In Europe, the Spring season stars end of March until end of May. But this doesn’t mean the ski season is over, you can' still enjoy sliding down the mountains in May and most of April. Some resorts even close early May! With more space to have fun, great conditions, and more time to enjoy the activities - this is your opportunity to enjoy a different kind of snow experience.

Take in the best of the spring light

Spring is the ideal period to enjoy the mountains with longer days (up to 12 hours of daylight). It means more time to enjoy snow activities. Sunrise is around at 6:48am and sunset around 7:00pm - plenty of time to enjoy the day!

Longer days also mean more time to enjoy the all-inclusive offer at Club Med ski resorts: ski and snowboard all day long, try non-ski activities from snowshoe walking and sledding, to après-ski treats including hot tubs, saunas or outdoor heated swimming pools.
